When everything starts fitting together, OH the feeling!

Forgive me if I've already mentioned a few of the following, but today, I feel like things are falling into place! I just put the final finishes on my site GigiToTheRescue.com, so within the next 24 hours, I will be able to start BUILDING the site, and maybe have it up by Monday morning!!!! YAY :) I have to wait for final approvals, and then I'll have access to start adding pages....and the smile on my face could not be bigger!

"Jake" is 8 illustrations away from being published! WOW, that is scary. In 8 pages, I will have completed a childrens book, cover to cover, from the birth of the characters- to the storyline- to the pictures....ALL me! The most awesome part about that is that I have 2 more stories already written! If "Jake's Big Day" is a hit, I've got follow-ups that I can immediately get to a publisher!!!!!!!!!!

*Sigh* I pray that I have the energy to keep all of this up....I'd love to be able to write childrens books, paint, help Wayne put furniture together, and play with Loli A L L day long.

Ok, my mind is reeling so fast at the moment....let me see:
Project for Jim M.-done
Project for daddy-done
Review for Barnstormers-done
Finishing the 4 canvases I have started-1 down and up for sale
Getting site 2.0 switched over and glamorized-almost done
"Jake" completed, illustrated, and off to publisher-rough draft complete, 2 illustrations completed
Poetry transcribed, poems picked for book, type up rough draft for publish-still transcribing

With that in mind, I think I need to GO DOWN the list....I may get more accomplished that way, huh? I, unfortunately, just don't work that way; if things aren't chaotic and discombobulated, I just cannot be productive!?! I am keeping notes though, so as not to forget or cross-relate any one project! *Yes, I'm one of those people that keeps post-its EVERYWHERE.

~Ciao

That all sounds great!! :)

What age range is your book going to be for?? :)

I'm not weird, I'm unique!!! said...

word-wise, I made it around 6 to 8-ish ages....but the illustrations should open it up to 4 to 8 years :)
