Well, it isn't the one that I said I'd be getting next, but I did it! This past Friday, I went with one of my great friends to get ink! We talked about it a few weeks back and decided that we would go together....
Friday came, and then the call from M that she was on her way into town. We met at "No Regrets" to get our fresh ink. We spoke to Warren (and if you're in the Huntsville/north Alabama area, I highly recommend him!), and finalized our tattoos.
M went first, and I sat at her side and chatted while Warren created a beautiful feather with a light blue tip, on her dainty wrist. We giggled and listened to Warren sing Beatles songs....it was a great! Then it was my turn.....
The tattoo stencil was positioned on my shoulder (right side), and then he went to work. M is good company if you're getting a tattoo. She is like me in the fact that tattoos are "foot prints" of your life and reminders of things passed. She appreciates them the way I do, so it was an honor to bond with her in that way!
My tattoo took about 45 minutes, with shading and all. We giggled some more, hugged and went our separate ways for the night....but I will always remember that night! You can see my reminder above :) it's a Claddagh (symbolizes love, loyalty, and friendship; the clover is just for a splash of luck!) I guess you could say that I'm lucky in love, loyalty and friendship.....it'd be a truth!
