Some of the Goodness......

I have decided on my "cause"! I have wanted to work with the Advocacy center here in Huntsville for a while. I have emailed them to set up a time to come in and see what I can do to make a difference! I have some things up my sleeve to be able to raise money, and I'm hoping to do some volunteer work!

Also, let's not forget that on NOVEMBER 10th, we'll be getting together for FREE HUGS day! Email me if you wanna get in or have questions.
AND, as always, we are still taking donations for First Stop (food, clothing, blankets, hygiene products, etc.)

Here's a posting from M-the Legion's next BIG step in making a difference in our community! Help if you can, please! I too, will be taking donations for either the ARK or the Can-a-thon and can get any contributions for either to M or Court!:

The Legion of Peace Can-a-Thon begins November 1 and goes through December 6, on which date all donations will be delivered to one of the Channel 48 drop off locations.

All donations stay in the county in which they were made so any donation you make is received by someone in your community. (From WAFF).

If you'd like to gather donations for your company, family, etc. donations can be dropped off at Redstone Federal Credit Union on Wynn Drive in Huntsville on December 6.

If you'd like to gather donations but will not be able to take them to a drop off - I, or another member of the Legion of Peace, will be more than happy to pick up your canned food donations.

Any little bit helps - 1 can is better than none.

Feel free to place a donation box at your place of business, company, etc and let us know when it's full so that we can come pick up the items!

Please contact me for further information:
